Knotty Alder Doors A Wood With Natural Character

Knotty alder is specifically selected for its knots and mineral streaks making it a great wood for that rustic appearance. Knotty alder wood is straight grained wood with some streaking and knots that create a rustic appearance. Pale yellow to reddish brown with indistinct boundary between heartwood and softwood. Knotty Alder is an excellent choice for staining, as it will take a clear coat, or a light to dark stain very well

Hand Selected Material For That Rustic Look

For our knotty alder doors we hand select all the lumber and pick out just the right pieces to construct the doors from. This is critical to ensure a final rustic look with the right amount of knots.

All our doors feature our 5 piece cabinet door construction. This cabinet door is available with a solid knotty alder wood center panel. Hinges, hinge hole drill and option clear finish can also be added.
