Popular Kitchen Cabinet Door Color Trends for 2027

2027 is right around the corner, a return to natural colors seems to be trending. If you are considering updating your kitchen with pre-painted cabinet doors you may want to consider some of the current color trends and see if they are a good fit for your kitchen.

Natural Earthy Green Colors

A color to keep an eye on is Sherwin Williams “Evergreen Fog” (SW 9130) It is a versatile green/gray that feels very natural and organic. This is a very popular color choice being used over a wide variety of the cabinet door style that we sell. Everything from the basic Shaker style to farm house inspired beadboard and vee groove doors.

Warm “Greige” Earth Tones

Another color cabinet door color that we have had numerous requests to paint is Sherwin Williams “Accessible Beige (SW 7036). This color is best described as beige with a touch of gray tone. This color also seems to pair well with Shaker style doors as well as beadboard. Of course it would look fantastic in raised panel as well.

Dark Navy Colors

Sherwin Williams “Naval” (SW 6244) is a bold bold navy color that makes a statement. This color pairs well with lighter granite or marble countertops of lighter solid wood countertops. Many of our customers have used this color as an accent color just for the island with a lighter color for the perimeter cabinetry.

Soft Whites

White is always in style and is a good investment in a kitchen color as it has wide appeal. “Alabaster” (SW 7008) is a softer white with a cream tone. Its a nice color that can brighten a kitchen without the brightness being overpowering.
