Solid poplar wood drawer front frame delivers extra durability and strength over all MDF. Having a solid wood frame will allow a better longer lasting mounting surface for screws which attach it to the drawer box itself.

The smooth MDF center panel is a great economical solution for achieving a flat grain free painted finish. MDF is also known for its great dimensional stability which minimizes panel expansion and contraction.

This Shaker style drawer front is constructed using the time tested method of 5 piece frame and panel construction to ensure years of trouble free use.
