Offered here is our unfinished Shaker cabinet drawer front in MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard). This style of drawer front combines the classic Shaker style with modern affordable paint grade materials.

MDF Makes a Great Paintable Surface

This Shaker Style drawer front features the same classic frame and panel construction as ll our Shaker cabinet doors. This drawer front construction method has been tested over time and is the same used for wood cabinet doors as well.

One main benefit of MDF for Shaker drawer fronts if its lack of any wood grain that would be found in other paint grade materials. Being man made MDF has a consistently smooth surface ideal for any painted finish of your choice.

MDF is a very stable material. While all materials do expand and contract with changes in temperature and humidity, MDF is one of the most stable.

This Shaker style paintable cabinet drawer front matches all our Shaker doors as well as our multi panel doors that have the square Shaker inner profile.
